These Titanium Pipes & Tubes are available in two types of grades that are grade 2 and grade 5 both have some common specifications while some differences. This alloy of titanium has excellent resistance to SSC, corrosion and even erosion fatigue. And these pipes and tubes are also capable of delivering in extreme weather confrontation and weldability because of rate formability, ductility, and strength. They also have functioning against high heat and temperature conditions, which increases usage in many industries. They are also used when straight contact making is an essential aspect.
They have ASTM B337, B388 and ASME SB861, SB861 specifications. And to ensure that requirement of size is met for everyone they come in a size range of ½” NB to 24” Nb inches where tube size varies from 1mm OD up to 254mm OD in thickness. They are available in shapes of round, square, rectangular and hydraulic etc.
A product’s specifications are judged based on tests they undergo and to ensure that Titanium Pipes & Tubes pass every standard many tests are performed on them. Tests like hydrostatic test, hydrogen induced cracking test, sulfide stress corrosion cracking test, intergranular corrosion test and hardness etc are performed on them. Once these tests are done, then only products are shipped to other place. And while shipping also certain measures are taken so that no damage is caused. This is done because these pipes and sheets have to go through various channels before reaching to customers and for that, they are packed in wooden boxes and crates. And these standards are applicable in national as well as international standards.
